I was excited to come to the Number One Nordic meeting of avalanche sciences - of course mainly with Norwegian presentations because Sweden and Finland have only a couple of hills that could avalanche, and thus not much research.
I had a 10-minute presentation in "Innovations" section. It was well received, although there was no time for questions... Some discussions with respected avalanche veterans were encouraging just as in Innsbruck last year.
Maybe the most important thing to me in the conference was the excellent all-round update on avalanche sciences. Norwegian resembles Swedish so much that with good sides I understood most of what was said, and all will be published on https://www.skredkonferansen.no/.
