Sanding the groove on the bottom of my vial for the horizontal pole of the BD Compactors, I realized the difference between two-component epoxy and the instant "locktite"-type cyanoacrylate glues: the latter must have exact alignment between the pieces to be joined, whereas epoxy allows for discontinuities. So reverted back to epoxy. To make sure the vial would not be knocked off.
Got my first pair of folding poles out for field testing!
